On Tuesday, July 9, a special court in Delhi issued a production warrant against Arvind Kejriwal. This warrant directs the accused Chief Minister to appear before the court on July 12. The decision was made by Special Judge Kaveri Bavija after taking cognizance of the supplementary charge sheet filed by the ED.

CBI Custody and Judicial Remand

Following his arrest by the CBI on June 26, Kejriwal was initially remanded to the custody of the central investigation agency for three days. After this period, on June 29, Special Vacation Judge Sanaina Sharma at Rouse Avenue court ordered Kejriwal to be sent to judicial custody until July 12.

Bail in ED Case

It’s worth noting that earlier, on June 20, a special court had granted bail to Kejriwal in the case registered by the ED. However, this bail order was subsequently suspended.
